Cottonwood Creek Ranch
Located about 14 miles southwest of Alder, Montana and minutes from fishing in the Ruby reservoir this Montana ranch offers wonderful panoramic views of the Greenhorn, Gravelly, and Tobacco Root Mountain Ranges which can be seen from the propertyıs rolling hills. The ranch had elk and deer on it in May and the owner states that they congregate on the property for the Fall rut. This holding is located in a small private valley but the topography is very mixed. There are large moss-covered granite outcroppings, aspens, pines, and Douglas Fir trees, grassy hills with sagebrush, and ravines and creek bottoms with willow lined meadows. Cottonwood Creek flows through the middle of the property and Barrel Springs forms just a hundred yards or so to the north of the Ranch boundary. The Ranch is bordered by BLM lands on two sides. This Montana ranch is a wonderful recreational opportunity for the fisherman, hunter, hiker or equestrian enthusiast.
